EXCELLENT Based on 44 reviews Posted on Russell CarrickTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Edward was very knowledgeable. Took his time describing the menu and the wine pairings. Made me feel like the only guest and really enhanced the dining experience with his knowledge! Food was exquisite once it arrived. Sauce for the oysters blew my mind.Posted on Cayman BendeleTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Was the perfect stop for my day. Definitely coming back to enjoy the clean and pleasant atmosphere. Edward was Supreme Appreciate the direct and proper service. I had only oysters and they were fresh with an amazing house Minette sauce.Posted on Marissa FelicianoTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. This spot ended up being the highlight of my work trip to Seattle! We stumbled upon this cute Swedish spot downtown and got to try so many things on the menu. The oysters were so delicious, perfect texture and flavor. So fresh! Also got to try the gravlax, smôgen, chanterelle mushroom soup with lingonberries and smoked bacon (you've gotta try it), the herring, and of course the swedish pancakes. I got creative with mine and added the house-made lemon curd with macadamia butter, phenomenal combo if you like tart, not too sweet, and nutty flavors together. Lingon is worth a stop for sure if you're visiting Seattle, and worth making a trip to the city if you're a local! The owner is also fantastic, he is the definition of hospitality. Such good energy in the place, and his passion for food and for creating a memorable foodie experience shines through clearly. Also, loved the music playlist! Will definitely be back!Posted on Connor Elvrum (Cjrocks234)Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. The food was amazing! Edward was amazing! The oysters were the best I’ve ever had!Posted on Jonathan DahlTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Great place with excellent food. The oysters were delicious and we can recommend everything we had. He's a one man show and we'll worth the visit. In town from Texas and only regret this place isn't closer!Posted on Mimi SanchezTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We weren’t even planning on stopping for a meal, but as we were walking by Lingon, the incredible aroma wafting from the door literally drew us in. It was one of those "we have to see what that is" moments, and I am so glad we followed our noses! The food was nothing short of spectacular. Every dish felt like a masterclass in Swedish-influenced cuisine: Toast Skagen: This was a standout. The shrimp was perfectly creamy, topped with fresh dill and a generous serving of roe, served alongside some of the best-toasted bread I’ve ever had. Pressed Cubano Sandwich: Crispy, savory, and served with a side of vibrant pickled onions and a delicious beet salad that added the perfect punch of acidity. The Crepe/Swedish Pancake: We finished off with a thin, delicate crepe dusted with powdered sugar and topped with a rich pistachio cream. It was the perfect sweet ending. Beyond the kitchen, the hospitality made the experience. Ed provided fantastic service he was welcoming, attentive, and made us feel right at home from the second we walked in. We shared many laughs! It’s rare to find a spot that nails both the high-end culinary execution and a warm, neighborhood vibe. If you are in Seattle, this is a must-visit. Whether you're a fan of Swedish flavors or just someone who appreciates a damn good meal, Lingon needs to be on your list!Verified by TrustindexTrustindex verified badge is the Universal Symbol of Trust.
